Snocross racer Tucker Hibbert gives "Today" show reporter Sara Haines advice before she does some laps.

Seven-time X Games SnoCross gold medalist Tucker Hibbert will be featured Tuesday on NBC's "Today" show in a segment about building a snowmobile.

"Today" show correspondent Sara Haines visited Hibbert at the Arctic Cat factory in Thief River Falls, Minn., to learn how to build a 2014 ZR 6000 El Tigre snowmobile on the assembly line before heading to Fertile, Minn., where Hibbert gave her lessons in driving and racing snowmobiles at the Christian Bros. Race Shop.

"Sara was nervous but is a fast learner, and immediately, she looked comfortable on the Sno Pro 500," Hibbert, who is sponsored by Arctic Cat, said, according to a news release. "In no time, she moved up from the flat oval track, to the actual national-level snocross track. She didn't want to stop riding and even caught a little air. It was impressive for a first-time rider and her huge smile proved that everyone should try snowmobiling."

Hibbert, who won his sixth consecutive X Games SnoCross gold medal in January at X Games Aspen, currently leads the AMSOIL Championship Snocross standings with four rounds remaining in the season. Rounds 13 and 14 of the eight-stop snocross season will take place March 8-9 at the Buffalo River Race Park in Fargo, N.D.

Haines' segment on Hibbert and snowmobiling is tentatively scheduled to air in the fourth hour of Tuesday's telecast.
