Tucker Hibbert celebrates the Round 15 victory and the Snocross Pro Open season title between Tim Tremblay, left, and Kody Kamm, right.

Tucker Hibbert raced to victory Friday night and clinched the 2012-13 AMSOIL Championship Snocross Pro Open season title at Grand Geneva Resort and Spa in Lake Geneva, Wis.

Hibbert actually clinched the championship during his second-heat race, but he didn't let up later as he won the main event by more than 15 seconds over second-place finisher Tim Tremblay.

"Feels awesome. This championship means a lot for sure," Hibbert said. "I got injured here last year, so to be able to come back and win was fun. Thanks so much to all the Monster Energy/Arctic Cat team."

Kody Kamm finished third.

Jake Scott moved closer to winning the Pro Lite championship by winning Round 15, boosting his lead to 67 points over Andrew Lieders with one round remaining.

"I'm so pumped right now," Scott said. "Our team worked so hard for this all year … this is just excellent. Thanks to my team and my family and friends for coming out to watch."

David Joanis was second and Andrew Carlson third.

Round 16, the last of the eight-stop snocross season, will take place Saturday night in Lake Geneva.
