Rapper-actor Ice-T is no stranger to the skateboarding world. He appeared on a 1992 cover of Thrasher.

Two originals, Vans and rapper-actor Ice-T, have teamed up for a limited-edition product capsule that will have the streets fired up.

It doesn't get much more O.G. than Ice-T -- who's credited with coining the term "Original Gangsta" and was even featured on Thrasher magazine's cover in 1992 -- and Vans, the original skate shoe since 1966. The collaboration is dubbed the Rhyme Syndicate in a nod to Ice-T's original West Coast rap collective as well as to Vans' Syndicate division, through which the shoe manufacturer works with individuals who define the counterculture, such as Jason Jesse, Mr. Cartoon and Shawn Stüssy, on product collaborations.

The capsule is a potent take on two classic Vans styles and includes a Sk8-Hi, a Chukka, a Starter hat and two T-shirts. The Ice-T Chukka is a perforated black nubuck with "O.G." embroidered on the heel tab, while the Ice-T Sk8-Hi features bright-white canvas side panels with a black suede heel and toe, with iconic phrases embroidered in an Old English font. Both shoes are built on a white vulcanized sole, which is lined with a "Parental Advisory"-themed fabric.
