The best of Texas Toast 2014
Texas Toast 2014 is done and dusted, but we've got one more round of photos to unleash featuring the best action from the finals, outtakes, turtles and the occasional Matt Beringer wearing a heavy metal wig photo. Welcome to the best of Texas Toast 2014.
Clicked 360 lookback on the dirt course from one of the masters of dirt style, Corey Bohan.
Downside tailwhip at height from Boyd Hilder.
360 one-footed tabletop from one of Austin's premiere trail riders, Clint Reynolds.
Rollercoast toothpick to barspin from New Jersey's newest Fiend pro, Colin Varanyak.
With moves like this insane footjam nosepick and much more, Dennis Enarson was one to watch in the finals.
Mike "Hucker" Clark
Cliffhanger backflip from Hucker during the dirt finals.
This was one of the highest airs of the weekend, and Mongoose pro Greg Illingworth owned it.
He not only announced the contest. He also got a tattoo to commemorate the event.
During the '90s, the backflip fakie was thrown by many riders, but not many were able to land the actual rollback. Throughout the finals, Morgan Wade threw the flip fakie and nailed the rollback like it was no problem.
NORA Cup awards
Ramp riding legend Dave Osato presents the ramp rider of the year award to Chase Hawk.
This is one of the most technical and burly moves of the weekend: Simone Barraco with a 180 to backwards nose wheelie to 180 out down a ledge.
Stylish air from Trey Jones in the finals. Minutes later, he launched onto the top of the container in the background and gapped out of the course.
360 to crankarm slide from Trey Jones in the finals.
Texas Toast turtle
Yes, there was a turtle at Texas Toast for no apparent reason.
Not only did Van Homan kill it during the contest, he also walked away with NORA Cup video part of the year for his section in the new Fit video "Holy Fit." See you next year in Austin for Texas Toast.
