Catty Woods 2013 Halloween Jam
Catty Woods Halloween jam
Each year around Halloween, the local BMX crew at the Catty Woods trails in Northeast Pa. come together to celebrate the season with a full day of trail riding in festive costumes. This year, with help from S&M Bikes, Fit Bike Co. and Empire BMX (who help foot the bill for insurance at the trails,) stenciled their logos on the dirt. Here Ryan "Yoda" Chikaraishi glides over the pocket in his jailbird costume.
Jon Lynn was one of the few riders to session "Chicken," the biggest line at Catty Woods. He also wasn't wearing a costume, but we'll let that slide.
X Games Brazil BMX Dirt course builder and Catty Woods local, Dirt Sculpt Dave King, styling out Wham Bam, one of the most ridden lines of the day. Bonus info: King was dressed in costume as his pregnant wife Kerry.
FBM Bikes pro Eric Hennessey buzzing a table in his home made bumble bee costume, made out of a custom painted FBM shirt, and some paper mache.
Zach Quest, getting sideways on the Wham Fever transfer at the bottom of the trails.
United Bike Co. pro and UK visitor Jimmy Rushmore using the force with this Jedi table on the quarter pipe through the line known as "West Side."
Jarad Carter was going higher than anyone else on this jump. He is from Australia, but was representing Pittsburgh with a 1970s Steelers jersey and helmet.
Deluxe BMX pro Mark Potoczny was dressed as himself, but possibly from a previous era of his life. He probably did good turndowns back then too.
