About Jake

Six-time X Games medalist (including 2009 & 2010 Big Air gold) Jake Brown is an all-or-nothing skater who is perhaps best known for his 47-foot X Games Big Air free fall slam in 2007 that garnered world-wide media attention. The veteran Big Air Aussie last medaled at XG Foz do Iguacu 2013, where he landed the first-ever Ollie 720 over the Big Air gap for bronze. He's a dedicated skater who is innovative and always in the mix. He hurt his back in Feb. 2015 and is still struggling with the pain, but has been spending more time skating the Nitro World ramp to dial in his Big Air skating.
