About Simon

At 42, the British vert specialist is thriving late in his pro career. He owns 13 X Games medals but is still searching for his first gold and desperately wants to not be the athlete with the most X Games medals of which none are gold. At X Games Austin 2015 he earned his third consecutive Vert podium despite recovering from a broken collarbone, broken hand, broken ribs, concussion and collapsed and punctured lung from a February crash. In 2016 he says he feels strong and excited and ready to attack. Tabron is a master of 540 variations, doing them with amplitude and style. He's a brakeless rider and by far the most consistent at landing the 900.

  • 13 BMX Vert medals (5 silver, 7 bronze), 1 Vert Best Trick bronze. That's an XG record for most medals with no gold.
  • Twin babies (Dylan and Scarlett) born in Oct. 2014.
