About Heath

With 11 medals in 11 X Games appearances, Heath is building an impressive collection and legacy. But he says he's more concerned with progressing the sport, which he's been doing since 2000 -- no one has enjoyed that sort of longevity in snowmobile freestyle. Best Trick, his favorite discipline, returns to X Games in 2017, and his goal is to land the first double backflip on a snowmobile. He already owns several snowmobile firsts and owns two Best Trick gold, including one for the first -- and only -- snowmobile frontflip (Aspen 2012). Creative and focused, Frisby fabricated a purpose-built ramp for the double and will enter Aspen with more than a month of practice.

  • 11 medals in 20 XG competition starts from 11 XG appearances, including 3 gold. Freestyle silver in 2016.
  • First (and in some cases only) person to land several innovative tricks: Underflip (XG Aspen '13), frontflip (XG Aspen '12; he's the only person to land one on a snowmobile), Tsunami backflip (December '09), Frisby air, etc.
  • Working with Joe Parsons and Cory Davis; they train into a foam pit and on a freestyle course at Parsons' place in Yakima, WA.
