With 5 XG BMX Park gold medals and four Dew Tour park titles, Daniel has been the face of BMX park competition. But he's now focused on a new venture: the Daniel Dhers Action Sports Complex in Holly Springs, NC -- a 37,000-square-foot public riding space that opened in late spring 2014. Dhers, a Venezuelan who didn't start riding until he was 12, pushed park contest riding when he started winning major events in 2006. A close friend and mentee of Dave Mirra, Daniel was a featured part of the World of X Games Remembering Mirra episode.

• XG Austin 2016 will be his 13th appearance; six BMX Park medals (5 gold, 1 bronze). 4 gold and a bronze in his first 6 XG appearances, 1 podium in his last 5 appearances: Munich 2013 Park gold.
