The 2015 FIS World Cup halfpipe champion made her X Games debut in Aspen in 2016 and finished 4th in SuperPipe. She excelled a month later, winning XG Oslo with one of the best pipe runs in the history of women's skiing. It was stylish and big and beat Maddie Bowman, who had won 4 of the previous 5 XG Ski SuperPipe comps. Cassie had a great overall season in 2016, finishing 3rd on the AFP rankings for halfpipe.Her brother, Darcy, also made his X Games debut at Aspen 2016 and went on to finish 4th in Snowboard Big Air at XG Oslo.
