About Larry

Larry Pegram, the oldest Moto X athlete competing at X Games Austin 2016, is a 23-year veteran of American road racing but started his career in flat track where he has 3 career GNC1 wins. Pegram is an accomplished AMA Superbike (now MotoAmerica) racer with five career wins spanning three different decades (1990s, 2000s, and 2010s). Pegram hasn't raced a Harley-Davidson XR-750 (the brand he'll ride at X Games) since 2000. He considers himself "semi-retired" now and competes in select events and once starred in a reality TV show about his life, called "Superbike Family" (Velocity). Finished fourth overall at the Superprestigio of the Americas in Nov. 2015 behind Jared Mees, Brad Baker and Kenny Coolbeth Jr.
