Reira Iwabuchi may be new to X Games, but she isn't new to snowboarding. This Japanese phenom started competing at just 7 years of age. By 11, she was winning regional contests and at 14 she was a slopestyle national champion. In December 2017, Reira stomped a Cab 900 and backside double cork 1080 at the Copper U.S. Grand Prix/FIS World Cup to take the win, standing on the podium above proven veterans (and X Games athletes) Julia Marino and Silje Norendal. Expect this 16-year-old to make a big splash at her first X Games, where she has a very good chance to make the podium in Big Air.
