X Games Norway 2017 to Feature Music From Top Norwegian Artists
Like all X Games events, X Games Norway will reflect the rich musical, art and cultural elements of the country of Norway with some of its most popular artists -- Seeb, Julie Bergan, Kaveh, Mugisho and Dunderbeist. In addition to the live performances, X Games Norway will incorporate Seeb's newest single, "Under Your Skin," as the event theme song. For the first-time in X Games history, all finals and concerts on Saturday will be aired live as part of the global telecasts. All music performances on Saturday will be streamed live to fans in the U.S. via ESPN3 and to fans in Europe via ESPN Player.
After providing a global platform at last year's X Games Oslo that helped launch artists like Alan Walker into the international spotlight, the X Games Norway 2017 event will feature musical performances by some of the biggest names in Norwegian music over three days. The X Games Norway music performances begin Thursday with Kaveh, then continue Friday with Norwegian hard rock band Dunderbeist and the Saturday finale will feature Mugisho, Seeb and Julie Bergan on the main stage at Hafjell. Tickets are now available at ticketmaster.no.
Oslo-based electronic music trio consisting of Norwegian musicians and producers Espen Berg, Simen Eriksrud and Nick Strand, Seeb released their newest single "Under Your Skin" today on Sky Music/Universal Music. After a string of successful singles, Seeb worked on "Under Your Skin" in collaboration with R City just in time for music festival season. Seeb already has several chart-topping tracks under their belts, including a remix of Mike Posner's "I Took a Pill in Ibiza," which gained international traction overnight. Their most recent single, "What Do You Love," has racked up over 25 million listens across Soundcloud and Spotify.
"We're so honored to have had our new single 'Under Your Skin' chosen as the official theme song of the X Games this year, and we are honored to be asked to perform it live on TV in front of millions of viewers this Saturday!" said Seeb. "This event showcases some of the best athletes in the world and it is so inspiring for us to have even a small part in that incredible energy. On March 11, we hope to add to that energy and give everyone, not only in the area but also at home, a show they will not soon forget!"
In addition to the performances on the main stage in Hafjell, X Games Norway will host event after parties on Friday and Saturday night in Lillehammer with musical performances from top artists -- Mugisho, Skinny Days, Stisema, Future Duper, Pasha, JCY and Kaveh.
